Material temperature heats up by heat radiation due to cause a glow discharge between furnace wall and screen. Then react active species go through screen and cause surface structure treatment. Glow discharge does not cause on surface treatment, so it avoids structure heterogeneous (edge effect or hollow cathode) due to material shape
